E&U launches Energy Witness®

The University now has a new and powerful tool for determining, among other things, how much energy is being consumed. Energy Witness® is the new utility billing and reporting system replacing the Progress® online utility reporting tool.

Energy Witness®, which has been in development for more than a year, is far more sophisticated than Progress® and provides highly detailed energy usage, energy cost, energy baseline, and greenhouse gas emissions information. The data can be sorted and displayed in a variety of ways enabling users to quickly find the information they’re looking for. For instance, just by plugging in a few key pieces of information, you have the ability to find out how much chilled water, steam, or electricity a building is using along with other comprehensive data.

You can access Energy Witness® by logging on to http://www.uos.harvard.edu and clicking the “UOS Utility Reports” icon on the left hand side of the homepage. Please note that a Harvard PIN is required to gain access.
